She should close down Savage and just keep Fenty Skin, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Hair and do nothing else until music 

It's so frustrating that she wasted her prime years (30s) not releasing music. It's probably going to flop now and ruin her legacy if she releases music. She could've at least had 2 smash albums and potentially 4 or 5 more #1s

I wouldn't say she wasted her 30s. She definitely used the time to focus on businesses that she is passionate about. However, I would have preferred had she dropped an album in 2021 before RZA was born. That's where she lost me. SUMMER 2021 would've been perfect.

I'm actually still not over it. Like the other songs are what you'd expect from a Smurf's soundtrack. Was she meant to sing the Tyla or Shensea tracks? Higher Love? 
 

FOM is genuinely bad on all fronts. I am at a loss they pushed it as the lead to promote the soundtrack

Higher love was the lead I think … they just pushed fom bcuz it's Rihanna to get more attention … my fav is Did We . I actually think she recorded this one and then gave it to the other girl lol

I think about this a lot, I understand that she wanted to separate "the singer" from the business for a period of time.

But i hate her because of teasing and trolling about music every time when she was promoting fashion/beauty bussines

 

Past 9 years were so hard for us

That second song was scrapped long ago just like everything else. Actually both songs were probably scrapped. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if FOM was just taken from lines from Smurfette atp

I really don't think we need another flop song

Yes, these soundtrack droplets are not her best, but it's also her way of testing the waters for new music. And if every song she drops gets poor reception, she gonna lose confidence that she should still do music.

I don't think anyone expected The Smurfs song(s)? to be top tier "Rihanna music" it's all subjective at the end of the day. Objectively speaking tho FOM feels very hollow, the lyrics are minimal and the vocals are overproduced, it's just not much to praise about the song other than the instrumental. LMU was a very similar situation. It's also a divisive song for it's own reasons but it has structure and is cohesive; lyrically and within the context of the movie it's for.
