IINSYFA is a great song and she sounds great on it! It was before Maroon 5 sold out for shitty pop.

I just feel like she has lost her spark or motivation completely. Idk if it is all the yrs of ppl hating on her and her talent and not getting the recognition she deserves or if she just lost it from being gone so long. Or both.

I understand the reason behind this and the movie is for her cute babies but cant she record more than 15 words?  I wasnt sure what my expectations were cuz I loved the Home songs, but this is not good nor goes anywhere. I hope she has more songs on the soundtrack and they are better then this.

This is where I'm at as well. But I definitely sympathise with anyone here who's disappointed after getting excited with the announcement of this song.

I'm disappointed w the lack of lyrics n how she didn't capitalise on the opportunity to release a guaranteed pop hit. We don't really get to hear much of her voice (the main thing we miss) and the way it's mixed is kinda crazy.
 

But like the more you clock it's just a fun lil way for her for to make some music for (her) kids, and probs relieve some of the pressure she feels with returning to music, it's understandable. I appreciate the fact it's something different and unexpected, and at the end of the day I'm never gonna be fully satisfied atp until I hear the album anyways.

 

So the real wait continues

It just makes me nervous for R9, which she said was not commercial or radio digestible. 

 

maybe this is was one of the tracks she was working on that she decided not to use so she turned it into a Smurf song.

 

 

 

I'm gonna need her to release something else quick to shut these allegations up. Like the superbowl was only two years ago, lift me up at the Oscar's sounded great.
