I know it's wishful thinking, but why do I feel like she's gonna try going back to her old ways with a September single and a Rihvember album?

As a fan, I'm actually relieved to hear Ariana is planning to take a break after the tour. Over the past year, many fans have noticed a significant change in her physical appearance. None of us know the reason for it, and I don't think it's appropriate to diagnose someone we don't know personally. But I also don't think the answer is to pretend nothing has changed. There is a difference between harassment and genuine concern. No one should bully or mock someone for their appearance. Cruel comments don't help anyone. But I can understand why fans who have followed Ariana for years are worried. When you care about someone and you see a dramatic physical change, it's natural to hope they're okay. Whether this is an eating disorder, another medical condition, the effects of stress, or something else entirely, I hope she uses this time away to prioritize her health above everything else. From the outside looking in, her appearance has become concerning enough that many people are worried for her well-being. If it is an eating disorder, it's important to remember that anorexia and other eating disorders are serious mental illnesses, not lifestyle choices or vanity. They can profoundly affect how a person thinks and sees themselves. Some people struggling with an eating disorder don't fully recognize how severe it has become, and that's part of what makes these illnesses so dangerous. As painful as it must be to see thousands of people commenting on your appearance, I also hope Ariana knows that not every comment comes from malice. Some come from fans who genuinely care about her life more than her career, her charts, or her next album. I also think it's worth remembering that celebrities can become surrounded by people who may be reluctant to challenge them or raise difficult conversations. We have no way of knowing whether that's true in Ariana's case, but it's a dynamic that has been described by many public figures over the years. Having people around you who are willing to tell you hard truths can be invaluable. The press release noting that she is healthy and athletic is honestly questionable. Ultimately, none of us know what's happening behind closed doors. I sincerely hope Ariana is healthy, but it really appears that she is not. And if she isn't, I hope this break gives her the opportunity to focus on herself without the pressure of constantly performing or being in the public eye. At the end of the day, I'd rather wait years for any projects from her than see something happen to an artist whose music has meant so much to so many people. That's not criticism, that's concern.

This made me really sad. I'm sorry to say she is dying before our own eyes and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it.

I love when a pop artist changes things up and puts out music with interesting electronic/dark production, so I'm loving this album. Reputation and Anti both did that for me, and they are some of my favorite albums of the last decade. Nothing about this album is predictable or expected. Hate to mention it, but it's obvious she's going through something in her personal life, and I can feel her "**** everyone who has anything to say about me" attitude in the music.

Overall the album is pretty disappointing IMO. I really wanted to love it and was excited because rep is my favorite album, and there was a lot of hype with Max Martin being the sole producer on the album. I was expecting something a bit more polarizing ala reputation (wasn't for everyone, but it had its own strong identity and was unlike anything she had done before). I expected the same for this album, but in a new way. The way it was described and hyped, I was expecting a 2025 version of Rihanna's LOUD, but with her lyrical genius (something fun, upbeat, meaningful, and reflective of the current happy state of her life). I don't really "feel" anything when I listen to this album. Taylor does have a versatile voice that can work with many genres… it would be nice to hear her explore this further on future projects.

So rep will always be my favorite album because of the production, and listening to this in LQ I'm not really disappointed. I feel like I will appreciate it more when I hear the production in HQ. We will see.

Y'all need to get a life or a hobby. Get outside, touch some grass, and focus on something positive for once. You have to be a truly miserable person with no purpose to focus your time on cancelling people people for mourning someone they don't agree with politically. Our world has become so dark and disturbed.

This is the most excited I've been for a Taylor album since reputation. Travis said "this album is going to make you dance"… I wonder how much of a dance record it will be? Travis is a big fan of house music and is friends with Dom Dolla & John Summit, so I wonder if that aspect of their relationship will be incorporated into the record (they were def rolling at Coachella to Dom Dolla's set a month before she started eras tour in Europe).

I just listened to this unreleased for the first time in years and it actually made me sad. I often forget about her unreleased, but listening to them is like listening to something new from her to fill the void of 9 years without music 😭 So sad to think about the force she would've continued to have in music if she kept releasing regularly. Her voice and tone is everything. I can only imagine how amazing all the scrapped R9 reggae album songs are that we may never hear.

This really reminds me of Kaskade's music from the late 2000s. Cool vibe
