We really haven't made any progress have we ? I mean we already 

knew an album was on the way.  But when ??? 

 

If Taylor's releasing this Fall then I'm happy to wait a little longer for OR3 bc as a swiftie and a rodrighoe I do NOT need a repeat of TTPD/HMHAS week with these two

is there a way for labels to know about future planned releases so they can plan around that?

Hits Daily Double heavily implied that a new Taylor release is coming soon, and it's one of the best sources of music industry gossip.

Yeah I do believe it's next year at this point. Let Taylor and Sabrina have this moment then she can have spring to herself. Maybe single in Jan/feb. I actually hope if it's not coming out this year, that she's still working on it. Different lyric shirts could've been for the same song.

The tour book announcement will probably be today. Wondering if it'll include any Easter eggs!

Considering how she has been teasing the lyrics in her shirt, the album is presumably done.  There is of course a significant delay to give time to print vinyls, but I would not be surprised if we get something in September still.  

 

I don't think she will have spring 2026 to herself though.  Clearly alot of 

projects are being delayed and 2026 will be a very crowded year.

To be fair, in late 2019, HDD teased that a new Taylor project was coming the same year that was not related to Cats (and it wasn't Christmas Tree Farm, since that materialized after the article was published), and nothing came of it.

The current production timeline is around three months, so assuming the album was completed a week or two before she started teasing lyrics on June 8, it's possible they're almost ready to go.

No, by that point Taylor had already mentioned the documentary in that letter she wrote before her AMAs performance in October. The article was published in November, IIRC.

I mean, that was only a few months after Lover. I could have told you a new Taylor project wasn't coming at that time, lol. (And if one did, it probably would have been cannibalized by the pandemic, which is what happened to The Man in real life.)

I feel like Sabrina and Olivia are both waiting to see when TS12 drops before they make a move lol...

Looks like the Taylor rumors are true. September and October are now unlikely months. November is possible, but December is a bad month for new music, so it might actually be better to start the era in January.

Yeah I don't believe that Olivia's team doesn't care about numbers. I don't think that Olivia herself particularly does, but her team does. And she doesn't need the Olivia vs Taylor/sabrina media nonsense. 
 

Early next year will be better timing. The hype from the blondies' new albums will have died down and people will be ready for something new.

imo, it's too early for a rebrand if Olivia doesn't plan to announce OR3 soon. Maybe she doesn't care about being blocked by Taylor?

so far she always released 2-3 singles before an album

 

so my bet is either november or january.

For my own selfish reason I hope she at least releases a couple of singles this year I just know it'll be another step up
