the Grammy deadline is August 31st for the 2026 awards ceremony.  I believe her lead song and 

album will drop during that same cycle so either both before August 31 or both after. 

 

Is an announcement tomorrow for a September lead song (at least six weeks) about right ?  If so, we are

looking at a song and album after August 31st.

i feel like she should release the lead like 3-5 days after announcing it, announcing like a month before releasing just kills the hype imo

Way before. They usually post announcements around noonish ET. Festival isn't until hours later and it's not a big enough deal to make an announcement like that at.

I think they're single pre-orders. Vampire was hidden too before she announced it and vinyl/cd was available.

I still think she's announcing something before her festival run ends. She has the show tonight, Paris on Friday. Then a 2 wk break before wrapping it up in Chicago (8/1) and Montreal (8/3).
