The GUTS singles rollout was a mess.  BIR released way too soon on a random Thursday.  Her label isn't serious about charting.

happier than ever also had a bad singles rollout, but Billie managed to bounce back. Idk if Interscope intends to copy the same formula. Maybe we won't get a pre-release single at all?

I'm guessing the official album announcement will be in September and the release date will be in November. Not great for the charts since she'd be competing with Taylor and Christmas music, but I don't think she really cares!

 

She should have some GUTS and release the album soon. If anything, the conversation about her vs Taylor or even Sabrina will just help her instead of hindering her. Charts have not been exciting for a while. Bring it on, Ms Rodrigo

OctobeR 3 is probably just another OR3 tease. There's no way she's directly competing with Taylor (but imagine if she did )

 

I'm thinking the lead single will come out in January, Grammys performance in February, and then the album release in March to coincide with St. Patrick's day, assuming that luck is the main theme.

MTB is going viral cause it was featured on the last episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
 

This was such a weird era…. The way her team handled things. They could've pushed more singles. They should've made a video and sent "So American" to radio before the Olympics. There were a lot of organic viral videos from olympians that they could've capitalized on.

Why is All American ***** one of the worst performing songs on the album? 

It's crazy how g4u's streams were so good when the album came out and now non-singles outperform it.
