I feel like dropping the album with no pre-lease single is the riskier strategy and using a big promo spot for a single that will probably be somewhere in the top 10 the week she's doing SNL would be a great way to push it back up and give it more longevity. I think dropping a whole album without a single first is better for artists who are deeper into their careers than she is.
