Anyway, I doubt that we're getting a pre-release single. It just wouldn't really make sense if Olivia made us wait four weeks just for a lead single announcement, especially since she could've used this hype to drive up pre-order sales.

I think we're getting the album announcement shortly after next Wednesday's pink moon and that's it. Album probably comes out in May.

Maybe it's just because of the pink moon thing that they're doing this on Thursday, but the fact that it's on a Thursday makes me think a song is coming that night.

There was also that DM post about single out in 4/17 but they've been wrong with literally everything Olivia related lately.

Nah. She's been super invested in marketing this time around, and she's really into merch. She wouldn't release a prerelease single without CD's or vinyls

2 weeks since they started teasing this era… it feels like it's been a month. 5 more days left…

I'm not worried about her. They have different fanbases and there's so much anticipation for Olivia.

I know people were clowning me on the other thread. But I genuinely want her to avoid April 10th for any kind of release, album or single.

For those not in the US, Ella Langley is shaping up to having a Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan, Olivia Dean breakout here in the states. Choosin Texas is getting around 270 chart points a week. Her other single Be Her Is #3 on US AM right now and is growing on Spotify and Radio. Her album releases on 4/10 which will probably result in a large bump in her catalog. I don't want her blocking Olivia from the #1

She's kinda killed the momentum cause why would she stay silent after the wall reveal?

she's fine, we're getting the announcement this week, I don't think these past two weeks either helped or hurt the hype, tbh

Yessss. The biggest thing I want is an album that I personally love. Next would be one that critics love. Last would be one the charts love. Hopefully all 3 happens, but there's always gonna be other artists releasing new music too.

Ariana's releasing soon, Beyoncé is rumored to… just a matter of time before Taylor releases again. As long as she makes good music, they pick a good single and give it good promo… she'll be good.

I still think there could've been something with that "5 years l8r" that lhq tweeted that one time. It would be good timing to do SNL right before album drop.

my current prediction:

April 2nd - album announcement
May 1st - album release
no lead single, dropping the whole album at once
April 3rd - deja vu Re-Imagined (unless the whole SOUR Re-Imagined thing has been scrapped)

I hope it was scrapped. Or at least pushed back. It's just unnecessary right now.

Forgot to mention that I noticed Colin Jost followed Olivia a few weeks ago. I thought maybe it was just because she went to that afterparty. But it makes sense if she's hosting. He's a head writer so he'll be helping write her monologue, etc.
