I mean Thursday night lol After she announces earlier that day. Basically what Bruno did. Album announcement Thursday, single that night. Then album release the following month.

They've had here release Thursday at noon many times. I wouldn't put it past them

I still don't think we're getting a pre-release single now that we know that the album is coming out soon. This is just like HMHAS.

We're probably just getting the album announcement on Thursday and then the Deja Vu cover by a famous artist or something.

I just hope she announces all her vinyl variants at once so I can pick the best one. I know it's not the best sales tactic, but it's nice to fans. Kacey just did this… several exclusive variants but all announced soon after the album announcement.

I want artists to stop putting out vinyls altogether tbh. And cassettes too. I can forgive CDs because I can still see people actually using those.

girl, vinyl is by far the most consumed physical medium for music right now... there's a reason why everyone is pumping out 30 vinyl variants, meanwhile cheap to make and cheap to sell CDs are dying

The more I think about it… she'll have to pre-release a single if she's performing on SNL 5/2.

Album probably isn't coming out 5/1. Kacey is releasing that day and they're label mates. So SNL will likely be pre-album release, meaning she'd perform the lead single and debut a new song. (Also adds to my 5/8 theory)

I only have a record player. Thrifted a nice one years ago. I don't know anyone with a CD player these days.

If you were active during SOUR prime days. Good4U blocked BTS butter for multiple weeks and she made more headlines as the first asian artist to broke records in Spotify, Grammys with SOUR etc than BTS could ever did in their entire career. Their delusional fandom didn't like it bc according to them BTS / East Asians are the only Asians apparently. Calling her racist names, it's just a whole lot of mess.

Why is everyone predicting Thursday now

For single or announcement? Her voicemail said after the pink moon. Pink moon is Wednesday night so that would mean announcement Thursday.

It sounds like she'll be doing SNL on May 2nd so that means album is coming earlier than we thought. Possibly that next week, May 8th. (Since her label mate Kacey is releasing May 1st) If that's the case, she's either not dropping a prerelease single at all or she needs to release it now. I think it'll be a midnight Thursday night release (so technically Friday… beginning of charting)

The outdoors and sunny is giving me more photoshoot than music video.

There's no way she would do SNL and not perform a song. It would be stupid to perform an old song, so she will have definitely dropped a new single by then. I really don't think the pink moon thing is going to be an album drop. If she drops the lead single this week, it will have been out for four weeks by the time she does SNL, which would be a great place to perform it and give it a boost on the charts. She could perform a second single there too.
