She always serves quality production. 
 

She's a SINGER and that's what she sometimes forget.

 

Vocal production isn't somewhere she has typically tried to stretch herself.

Why are we getting upset about six seconds? This fandom I swear. 

 

I can't wait for this album to drop so that we can finally start healing from the trauma.

I'm sure there are songs on the album where she is actually singing. For me personally , BB is exactly what i wanted from her in terms up the uptempo songs. I wouldn't expect insane vocals on a song like that. I believe that her time curating album has been well spent. I'm excited for more. 

Exactly. There's a bunch of leaked songs that she is "singing" like some of you are saying she isn't in this, I'm also sure she's very comfortable doing this "talking" style, which I personally love.

Now please she's LITERALLY sanging in the 1:59 snippet, vocals on vocals. Makes sense why she wants to release that before releasing a bop if that's how the fans are going to behave. 

 

And this BB snippet is just 100% Normani for me what I've been waiting for her to give us. I can see the video. I can see the choreo. I can see the vision.

It goes a lot harder than Candy Paint. Think of SZAs Low, it reminds me of that but a lot more danceable.

I wish i could describe it for you fully but I wouldn't do it justice. The snippet sounds confident and vivacious. Her fans are gonna be elated with this. I find that it's hard for singers to create uptempo songs that sound confident without sounding corny but Normani does not struggle with that at all on this track. Keep in mind it was only 10 seconds. Imagine how insane the rest of the song is. It's made me so much more excited and i didn't even think that was possible. 

I love Big Boi more than CP right now, it's so catchy while still feeling true to mid(ish) tempo that Normani is comfortable in. It's very danceable too

I listened to the Big Boi snippet again and I think my issue with it is it sounds kinda... cheap? Or maybe unpolished is the better word? When I think of all my fave Normani songs, one of the main things that stands out to me is how SLICK they sound. Even the 1:59 snippet we have sounds so meticulously crafted. The Big Boi snippet has the bones of a catchy hook, but the instrumental and mixing feel like they were thrown together in Garage Band in a couple of minutes (also that male autotuned voice that keeps chiming in over her vocal is annoying as f*ck ).

 

But hey, it's a 250 kbps snippet of 10 seconds of the song, so it could be unrepresentative of what the full HQ song sounds like

No but fr. Should we be afraid of a leak? It seems like too many people are sitting on files of her music. It would really be anti-climatic for her to wait so long to drop and it leaks. If these tracks really are on the album, that means we already know 4 track titles. 5 if we assume that Dopamine is an album track.
