Was gonna say - they have very different fan bases but now Billie is also dropping May 17 with no singles so hype will be huge. Hopefully they stick with this date though. I think she just needs to build a fan base with MUSIC out lol

They have very different fanbases. Mani is releasing a R&B album and realistically I'm just hoping Mani has enough sales to reach the top 10 lol. If she's able to do 35,000 - 40,000k, I'm happy lol

I would say push it back to the week after because I don't want her to be drowned out by Billie. On the other hand, she's still being very quiet on SM and it would be in her best interest to drop it soon so this chapter in her career can finally be closed. If the album is good, it could have some longevity. 

I don't want no pushbacks anymore. Like who cares if someone's released the same day tbh it's practically impossible to get the wholes GP attention. So I hope they just won't care and drop, whether there's another album or not that day, if Normani's album is good the GP will eat it up.

Plus I'm super other labels are aware of other major label artists releasing around the same time ? Obviously we aren't but the management team and industry people must have some insight

Billie, Zayn and 21p are all releasing that day. There's really no need to change. She just needs to make some more noise and these photos ain't gonna do it.

That's " Yeah, I Said It " by Rihanna my favorite song from her I wish it was a new snippet too ahah. Fun fact that song and Wild Side share one same producer Kuk Harrell, I love his work I hope he'll work with Normani again

oh well.

Dopamine isn't debuting at #1 in any scenario, so I don't get why people care who else is releasing that week. If anything, I'd rather her debut low in a super busy week than debut low with everything above her having been out for several weeks.

 

Biggest priority right now is just to get the music out. That's all her team should be caring about at this point. She needs to shake off this reputation of constantly delaying her music way more than she needs a high chart debut.
