The video is also coming just not when y'all want it to and if I've learned anything based on the quality of this album, it's good that she does not move on y'all time but hers so we can receive her work at her best. Does she excel visually? Absolutely, however she also excels sonically as proven on this album which is the main thing. Focus on the main thing. Y'all' can't digest content at a decent pace and it's off putting. Goodbye.

Yeah I'm officially out lol. Some of y'all are delusional to think that a music video will magically increase streams significantly. Times have changed. Sometimes some of you go out of your way to be miserable. The album is getting amazing reviews and it's like y'all have to make yourselves unhappy and self sabotage by demanding things we don't have (yet). Y'all talk about Normani self sabotaging but y'all do the exact same thing. It's impossible to enjoy things with the type of fans she has . Anyways album is 10/10 as stated before. sayonara.

Thank you. Like they just simply aren't. lol it's not even up for debate. No other r&b girls album sounds like dopamine. We cannot say the same for the pop girls though.

There were times where i was listening to the album and I had to pause because i was beyond proud and shocked. I always believed in her, but after so much hearsay about what was on the album and what's not , i really was prepared to not like at least half of it. One thing about this entire process i learned is to just wait. It's hard but my god she made it worth it for me. She has truly carved out her own lane. The elements of pop and r&b are there but none of it sounds like anyone else to me. It sounds like Normani because it is Normani. Proud is really an understatement. Irrevocably grateful that she took her time. I always Stan the music before anything and with this project i have a lot more great quality to look forward to in the future. Genuinely 10/10. I have so much more flowers to give her but I'm truly speechless lol.

There's an artist set to release an album with over 50 mil followers and their latest post only has 300,000 likes. No artist unless they are showing ass or they're white is pulling crazy instagram numbers. Like wheresjay said there are artist with ten times more likes that do not sell. Social media is extremely fickle. I wouldn't bet on it.

Y'all's need for criticism blinds y'all from recognizing when some people are just being cruel. You need to be telling that person to relax with the way they have been erratically carrying on. None of this is ever that serious to degrade strangers. It's just music and the same talking points are constantly repeated just in different fonts. I see why her some of her fans and even wheresjay are choosing to be offline. Her fans have always been insanely demanding but the type of rabid behavior being displayed only 3 days before the album comes out is such a turnoff. It's unfortunate her normal fans have to be subject to it.

Happy we are a week away because all of this gets confusing and messy. Ppl are saying ten songs in total but then saying 4 interludes….. that's still 14 tracks. If those other songs are actually on the album then i wonder which song Meg is featured on. I'm a bit confused on the reception of the album from the media outlets that got to listen to it because they are giving great reviews but if certain songs are on the album i question their taste lol. She had to completely rework some songs because those 2 snippets on live and even black woman were not of the quality ppl were saying the songs on the album are. I couldn't care less about leaked songs being present as long as they are amazing . I just hope i actually like the music since that's the most important thing to me. I will say her team did so well last night with the listening party. The aesthetics and the overall vibe was perfect. 10/10.

It's always specific ppl that come in here and state the "hype died down" then she releases and people are "hyped again". Everyone is so very fickle so i wouldn't count on hype in today's time. Her trailer is about to surpass another someone's trailer who released theirs 2 weeks before her since y'all like comparing her to other people. As long as Normani exist, she will have "hype". That's the one thing she is good at creating and she doesn't even do it on purpose or try hard. it's always gonna be a lose lose situation w her. She gave content and music just not the way y'all wanted and that's ok. Ppl will continue to be hyper critical and I've excepted it but I'm not buying into it. I'm still excited for the main thing which is the music.

Anything anyone does can always be better. And when people deliberately pay attention to that aspect of whatever anyone is releasing or doing and make it a point to become hyper critical , that's very annoying to me. I never said it was hate. It's just takes the fun out of the consuming the art and people start to miss the big picture which is that she is finally releasing music. A whole debut album. For years that's all ppl wanted. We could get really good news and no matter what a complaint will be made. Maybe that's just the nature of this thread and her fans but it's annoying. Your opinion about her rollout is yours. I just want the music and performances which she will be providing so I'm good. I've waited too long for this album to have my focus be on things and processes I have no idea about.

Agreed on the confusion about the song info being edited out especially after James and her mom just confirmed it Twitter lol. But I wouldn't be surprised if she was aggravated that titles were mentioned because we all know how secretive she is.

I think that's why she hasn't posted it. She's prob annoyed. I think she also is hesitant because she doesn't want to give "that" situation too much traction. It was a great read and what was mentioned needed to be, however I wish it was written a bit more mindfully. Them brining up the Stan page and them literally mentioning the racist slurs she's called was distasteful imo. Could've done without that.

This is so true. Performances are her strong suit and with consistency and visibility it can only go uphill from there. Her BBMA performance literally made love lies shoot to the top of billboard. Her being on tour and performing at festivals also made people pay attention even more. It's not impossible at all for her to succeed tremendously. They need to stay consistent.

I'm not one for complaining but i start getting discouraged when it seems like we get consistent bad news. I'm sure when we get let down she does too, but Normani and everyone around her really need to be militant. It's always something with almost every release and it takes the fun and excitement out of it. I also don't like her mom trying to clean up the mess when it should be coming from her. They've been doing this for years. For them to think this will continue to suffice with actual fans is not good. She can get creative and innovative with ways to communicate to us what we need to know. I don't want to know their every move, just a little reassurance here and there.

I also love that the male feature on the song actually took the time to make sure his verse coincides with what the song is about. I hate when rappers get on female songs and talk about things that have nothing to do with the song. Gunnas verse is slutty and he matched her vibe for sure.

This is your opinion. I think you insinuating that the fans that like it only like it because we are excited to hear music was not necessary because that's just not the case. Maybe they like it because they can, just like you're not that fond of it because you can be. That's your opinion. I just think it's weird sometimes when people don't like what she does try to force that same opinion on others or pass off their thoughts as facts.
