Life imitates art and history repeats itself. The way she just casually showed out on us and yet the opps are very quick to ignore, dismiss and continue their lies. Somewhere in 2023 she said "betcha gon know how this feels even if it's the last time you hear me sing live".

So called "fans" after giving backhanded praise to any display of vocal ability as Daydream reminiscent after Mariah then decides to humor them with true Daydream vocals in HQ quality

I loved Daydream! Fantasy is already a classic in my house. Underneath the Stars, Long Ago, Melt Away, Forever, The Sweet Dub Mix, and ofc Looking In, whew! Excellent songs back to back. Sonically wise, it's her most polished record til now. I'll let it cook as I listen to the remixes which are bop after bop after bop, I'm loving them all! Thank you @suburbannature

My only gripe for now is that her videos are....there. Nothing above "cute", sadly. I understand music is/was her first and foremost passion but they feel lackluster.

Don't worry - her music videos heavily pick up next era (although I love the Fantasy vid). She was tired of having lackluster vids and took it upon herself to direct that one since Tommy wouldn't let her work with anyone edgy. She gained much more freedom in the Butterfly era.

When I Saw You is kind of insanely underrated by Lambs. The lyrics are amazing

Someone years ago pointed this out on Twitter I believe... could be the wrong song tbh LMAO but the I Am Free climax at 3:55... I would love for a Lamb with gospel knowledge to tell me more about where her vocal building blocks come from

That part really gave Mariah voice resonance wow, the way Mariah was able to use her M1 voice to mimic these M2 vocal qualities is impressive

All of the testaments played altogether couldn't compare to this

Her 2013 vocals were so good. There was literally no reason to process her vocals like that on the album or to dub that Fallon performance with the whistle nn
