What makes it even funnier is the continued dominance of DWAS happening at the same time!

 

It really hasn't hit me until now that we're getting the LG7 LEAD this month, im so excited to see if it's any of the snippets/leaks we've heard or another song, we will also probably get a music video and some more information / visual aesthetics for LG7 as well along with the single. We're so close.

I know yall will call me delusional but I feel like Gaga's acting style reminds me A LOT of Nicole Kidman. Like she has potential to go there. She has a unique acting style but if I had to compare ito any of the major film actresses of our time it's more Nicole than Cate Blanchet or Glen or Meryl etc...This excites me a lot about her potential. She just needs to churn out more films.

Love that there was crying in the base around July/August that the LG7 hype was "dead" and "squandered" after we got the snippet from the Chromatica Ball and now those same stans are crying that a completely unrelated jazz album/movie "killed" said non-existent hype

She needs to choose a great director and script, enough with these losers who always cut her scenes

Oh don't worry, most of their faves have upcoming film projects, be it soundtracks, directorial debuts or biopics. We will be sure to book first page seats and multi-page residencies in those threads when they bomb into oblivion and unlike Ga, they will NEVER be able to cross over successfully to the film industry either   

I hope Kimmel asks Gar about LG7, she'll probably just say "soon" but hopefully she'll spill some tea, since it's already October

The way she serves looks in the Instagram era looks much more comfortable than the last decade when she had to physically walk out into the streets to bait the paps.

Is it OGHs taking over for one day (only for them to be whole a*s clowns) that is getting to your heads or are you just overwhelmingly pessimistic?

she will but what she actually has to do is stop beeing so picky and choosy. Yes she is also a music star but Gaga does not spend a lot of time on her eras and usually has massive gaps between singles, tours etc. She has PLENTY of time to film more movies in leading or supporting roles or to do small streaming series etc. It's precisly her choosy tendency that is costing her a lot of hype. Most big actresses film a lot of duds before landing on highlights. She needs to be less scared to miss the mark. Work with tons of directors and go full throttle. Rip the band aid.

How can a project that made no noise at all kill the hype for her highly anticipated comeback to the pop scene?

but she has to start picking better films cause she wont reach iconic status in film industry like nicole did with her current choices

For awhile now I've felt like her acting career could end up similar to Kidman. Not every film is great, but she consistently picks nonconventional, risky roles that together run the gambit. And similar to Kidman, I think we're seeing that her best performances won't make it to the Oscars. 

 

Anyway, I really hope Gaga doesn't feel bad about how the film turned out and uses the experience to make better choices. Primarily focusing on picking better overall projects and not betting on 1 project every few years.

$55M is ok tbh, and they even make the point that it's disappointing but not horrible anyway. just not the billion dollar hoped for.
