Unpopular opinion: people are too pessimistic about LG7 lead's performance on the charts because DWAS is doing so well. Had DWAS not existed, everyone would believe the lead would debut top 5.

I don't think any of us are worried about the debut though. The reality is that Gaga, barring this song, has struggled to deliver a single with longevity. Usually because she simply picks the wrong songs as the lead singles, tbh.

Truth or not, I just love how she always blames Interscope for picking the lead whenever it bombs.

I'm sure she's still very busy at the moment and has numerous shoots and promos lined up, especially for Joker, but I just hope she's somewhat active on her social media over the next few weeks, would be cute to help see the next few weeks until the LG7 single go quicker.

Crazy to see her numbers still growing week to week after almost a month since DWAS was released. The song helped

her overall catalogue so much. She used to struggle to do 10M on Mondays and look at her now.

 

What's even more exciting is that from now on I don't think she will ever do less than 10M daily ever again.

DWAS is a streaming giant and there is no way it will plummet to less than 1M daily for a long time.

20 million+ streams per day, a song at over 11 million streams per day, 3-5 songs getting over 1 million streams per day, and she's only released one album this decade. DWAS has done wonders for her discography, and the fact that a song of this magnitude has happened this far into her career is amazing.

Idk how Spotify works but if they're able to strike a deal to "force" the lead in every one of her new daily/monthly listeners, a smash will be guaranteed.

I hope she and her team chose the right first single for LG7 

 

That's why a release like HMHAS was the best option...

SNL announced three new cast members today ahead of the season premier September 28. We can expect host and music guest reveals soon as they typically announce 1-3 weeks before episodes.
