That's why her interactions keep slowing down dramatically after a small burst from an event of some kind. But part of me is still hoping she does a visual album of some kind and doesn't focus on singles. It'll end up having no longevity, but maybe I'm being overly cynical in expecting her to abandon the album within a few months anyway. We'd get the visuals we want, great music, and a strong first week that we can celebrate. If people connect to the music, something can pop off, but you have to start with good music. We have watched Katy desperately try to go viral over and over again and it has failed because you can't force it. It doesn't matter if her team "gets it together" because you ultimately do not know what the public will latch onto. They can put ads up, which they obviously will, but she needs to really focus on the music just being good. BRAT has become what it has become because people genuinely love the music.
