From a technical point of view, maybe, but that's not how music is consumed. Thriller is very much a product of its time, but still something perfectly crafted, just like BR.

 Absolutely this. I actually enjoy Stupid Love as a Chromatica album track, but the song is regular, to say the least. The "chorus" is the worst Gaga chorus of all time.
