True, but they did plan Chromatica out incredibly well it seems, and it's just 2020 that got in the way.

 

 

And then when they replanned it, something else happened and they were back at square one again.

the whole era was a HUGE fiasco tho  everything leaked, the delays, the false promises (the worse being when she said she's going to make the roll out so "fun" after delaying the album only to abandon the album the day it was released), only one performance for the whole "era", only 3 MVs (and one of them being SL ). I'd take a second single switch any day over an "era" (can we even call that an era?) like Chromatica. 

 

edit : the pandemic is not an excuse btw, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd and even Katy Perry promoted their eras.

It does sound original and has outstanding lyrics, yes but it’s still dated. The arrangements, overall production and mixing sounds like it’s, like,  you know, kinda old. It’s just beyond obvious for someone involved in music.

The panning synth and melody synthesizer are anything but timeless. The only timeless version of this song in existence is Chew Fu remix.
