It’s iconic that it has become so widespread in stan culture tbh, I have even seen mainstream pop articles using the expression and I had the suspicion that Gaga had coined it. That’s legendary behavior

ATRL like to clown Gaga's messy 2013 phase but she brought up so many iconic moments like this that are still consumed and remembered even today.

You do have a point. It was underwhelming for a comeback following ASIB, the leak didn’t help either and the demo sounded boppier. I guess It’s one of her most divisive songs for it has extreme haters and stans. But honestly the first time I heard this song, I did like it because it served high energy and a return to her electronic roots. I also did realize the kitsch quality of the lyrics, video… but it was the infectious synth what made the song really special.
