Also I wonder why there hasn't been paparazzi at Shangri-La for months now? Does Malibu and LA in general have some kind of pact with paparazzi so they don't stalk celebrities like, idk, New York?

I wonder if Gaga will attend the MET Gala this year...? It's an opportunity to be even more out there and promote herself before Joker / LG7 no matter the order they come out

I have wanted her to do this for the longest time, but this fanbase would meltdown every single day for the next ten years. I want new music and IDC about promo or anything else, and if the only way she can fit new music into her schedule is through a simple drop like this, I am fine with it.

Even though I'd love a "proper" era with a few performances and interviews because we haven't experienced that in ages, I'm here for here dropping the album all at once like that. A literal "let the music speak" moment.

This movie Is going to be huge and if the soundtrack has originals songs then lg7 Is coming next year

I'd love her to attend because I like the idea of the theme, I feel she won't though. I wouldn't be surprised if she is one of those celebs who hate attending the Met Gala (complaints are it's usually hot and crowded, atmosphere rancid etc.).

They are most likely children who think Katy is going to make a big comeback (lol) because of a few Katy TikToks getting more than the usual 12 likes so they are jumping on a bandwagon to be part of the "success".

Yeah, like, we are going to be getting more than enough from her with Joker 2 so a small music release would just be icing on the cake.

According to Google maps, Shangri-La is super close to her Malibu house (it's just one street and a 2-3 minute car ride away). So she's probably able to go there pretty inconspicuously since the close distance means she can basically go whenever she wants. 

 

Edit: it's actually on the same street as her house.

It's not a "quick little album" because all of Ariana's albums were recorded in short periods of time and she never sits on her music for too long. She also delivered a magnum opus that was universally loved by critics and fans before moving on to Wicked mode. 

 

I've said before that I really don't mind waiting until 2026 for LG7, as long as she's inspired and passionate about the music and comes back with her best album. But I'll also keep complaining because her last release being from when the entire world was in lockdown is...let's just say not smart for her music career.

I hadn't read a lot of their posts until yesterday but since their reply to my post, I went to their profile and read a lot of their posts and I have to say that @Jessie is one of the most knowledgeable and informative posters on here. Their responses are always measured, respectful and very informative. Some of us young Liddos may not know a lot of history (about music, movies or the entertainment industry) and may come across as delusional or naive. @Jessieshare their knowledge without coming across as condescending or arrogant or as if they are lecturing us. This post is to give gratitude for such posters who make ATRL an enjoyable experience.
