I've just recalled that there was a Bruce Wayne story line in the first one. I wonder how that will continue.

And where did I even say that Gaga should release an album like that? dd. The point is that Ariana played to her strengths and released her most cohesive, consistent, and creative record yet. It felt like an elevation of all the things that she's tried so far without retreading old ground. It doesn't matter how short the album is because all of the songs had enough to breathe and the album still feels complete and tells a full story. The ESOTSM concept is also brilliant? Everyone knows how obsessed Ariana is with Jim Carey and the movie's plot fits the music so well.

 

I never said Gaga should do the exact same thing as her and also drop an album inspired by a movie in my OG post. But I'd rather have a 35min / 13 track album with 0 skips than a bunch of fillers in a 50mins album. Whatever she does, there will always be people hating and criticizing and that's normal. It happens with Beyoncé's ultra acclaimed albums as well. But when you deliver your strongest effort yet, the majority will sit down and eat their food in silence. And that's what Stefani should aim for.

 

Every day this base is littered with posts comparing Gaga to other artists with negative connotations towards Gaga. This is a unique trait to the Gaga base, no other relevant base acts like this.
But when I respond with a comparison post that puts Gaga in a positive light I get called out. 
If I wanted to say something nice about Beyoncé or Ariana, I would post it in their respective bases. Eternal Sunshine is literally my most listened to album of the year so far (until the JFAD soundtrack comes out) and if I wanted to express how much I like it, I would post about in her thread. Not the Gaga base

"What The World Needs..." is now stuck in my head so bad  idec if it's just covers, the whole compilation (+score) soundtrack package is going to be immaculate. The song selection so far is 10/10.

You don't have to make snarky comments or discredit other artists to praise Gàr. 

And the negative connotations in question being me saying she should play into her strengths and drop an opus next.

If I wanted to LASH her I can do it without bringing up other artists! She's given us enough material

 

OT - I was just hanging out with my friends (who are snobby and pretentious film stans) and they're shooketh @ the trailer despite spending the last few years trashing Joker and Todd. She's winning.
