She’s at #52 +5 on Spotify Artists Chart today. Maybe fortnite promotion working well for her.

He actually originally said February but not 100% sure knowing Gaga is a well known delay girl. He also said Q1 on lock for lead and Q2 for album.

 

I still think she'll use the Fortnite deal to promote LG7 lead single later. She's there for two months.

When you take into account that several people released yesterday (Sza, Selena, ect.) this is really good. Like this is where she would be on a Friday update before UMG-gate happened. And I have a hunch that if Fortnite keeps her discography afloat for long enough, the Spotify algorithm will recommend (or randomly play) her music more when people are randomly listening to other artists.

I think she did 12.3M - 12.5M today, last friday she was at #61. Almost +10 position.

Sounds about right. That's around what she was doing on a Friday update pre-UMG gate. So Fortnite basically cancelled out the effect of her songs being off of TikTok.

Gaga also needs to release more often to keep the stats good (even more without Tik Tok which helped her a lot). 

Her discography as a whole is getting old for sure.

I'm not talking about the music quality. Her hits are timeless, it's been proved by the revival of her 2008/2011 discography on Tik Tok the past year.

 

I'm just saying she just needs to be more regular in her music releases. At least releasing few stuff (other than jazz **** that literally nobody is streaming) if she's taking 5 years to make an album. Just to keep her stats on point.

 

Fortnite effect could have bigger if it’s not for that UMG gate. There could be lots of fortnite clips in tiktok playing her songs.

Gaga is not a well known delay girl  Nothing besides Chromatica of hers was delayed from their original dates. This is just a tired excuse used by fake insiders to use as a scapegoat.

Seriously, **** UMG. What the **** are they thinking? Literally dampening the success of all of their artists, including the ones releasing new music 

Selena bombed hard and she doesn't even have tiktok to save her song. Hopefully UMG works something out. We could be getting a much bigger boost right now. 

the hair instrumental is actually SO good. i didnt realise how cool some parts sounded until recently.

the part at about 0:58 is my fav bit but its very hidden beneath the vocals in the normal version

I cannot for the life of me understand how a multi-billion dollar corporation can get so ******* greedy over money they don't even need and pull their catalogue off of a platform that has one billion unique active users a month, thus kneecapping their streaming royalties and giving their competitors (namely Sony and Warner) an enormous competitive advantage. I wish I could get paid millions of dollars to make decisions that stupid

it is ironic how Gaga is doing this fornite deal for chromatica and yet again its being handicapped by something  The tiktoks with songs on could be boosting this even further. i cant see this lasting, labels and artists teams must be going mad about it.

Luckily for Gaga, it’s more of an inconvenience right now vs. anything major since she’s without a single out anyway. It’s more devastating for artists that really rely on TikTok exposure.

 

From the Interscope side of things, Billie is someone that benefited a ton, so that has to be worrying for them as her release gets close.
