duh and it's no shade.  chromatica and the fame have some real fillers in there. they are her safest sounding albums too I fear 

Plastic Doll is the reverse Bad Kids. Spectacular chorus, horrible verses as opposed to Bad Kid's great verses but horrible chorus. 

I still think ARTPOP is her filler-iest album. I wouldn't even notice if Manicure, Donatella, Fashion, Mary Jane Holland, and Gypsy were taken out

Fun Tonight doesn't deserve the slander it receives.

 

Though, it would have worked better as a ballad. Same goes for 1000 Days Until LG7.

I was just about to post that it's the worst song Gaga has ever released. 

 

Fun Tonight deserves all the slander it receives. 
What a lifeless boring song that derails the album. It should of been cut with Free Woman

Fun Tonight is so misunderstood tbh. The lyrics are great and I love her delivery on it minus the oh oh oh oh at the end which kinda ruins it but that’s my main issue with chroma is everything mostly feels like demos

Very much this. I have a guttural '' cringe '' reaction whenever I hear the '' oohh AAAHH UH OH AAAAH UH OH AAAAH UH OH '' part and the goddamn kidz bop'd beat in the background. It just feels unfinished and phoned in, especially when the song puts so much emphasis on building up to the final drop, and you get zero satisfaction during the drop you've been anticipating the entire song.

 

And the thing is, Gaga really knows how to build up a song and end it in an extremely satisfying way. She showed it in the Chromatica album itself. Rain On Me bridge -> last chorus is MAGICAL, same with Replay. But Fun Tonight just falls flat, and it's extra disappointing because there's some good material there that is ruined by an extremely lackluster and honestly very cringey drop/outro that doesn't do anything for the song, except ruin it.

That’s my main issue for most of Chroma

Things fall flat and most of it just sound basic and generic which is so different from anything Gaga got us used to

 

This is so cool, so much better than the official stuff. She has such incredible visuals, it's unacceptable how bad most of her merch is. Literally losing tons of easy money.

Whilst Chromatica’s 2 minute each track by track commercial dance production is debatably soulless and what has condemned it to being ‘forgotten’, these tracks at least her her own stans engaged.  Back in the day they’d argue which one was in their top 5 etc.

 

 Plastic Doll is the chorus moment of the record. Remember she would also mention she wanted to keep 1k doves the acoustic way on the record. Chromatica still works better as a start to finish record with all the tracks.

My Top 3 Chromatica favorites with ROM.

Plastic Doll is generic but at least it's the only song there with an actual attempt at a hook, too bad it's too whiny
