Either by her team and her own fault, or by things they couldn't control, Gaga's last 3 eras were a mess. Last minute changes, rushed moments and unplanned situations. ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica could've been so much bigger with better single choices, more visuals, performances, etc. Yeah, the albums have a couple of really bad songs, but also some of her best. My big issue with Chromatica was that the music, mainly the production, was subpar. It lacked the soul and creativity from her previous projects. It felt like she was performing Gaga to shut fans up rather than making the music she actually wanted to make. I don't want producers forcing her to go to the studio; I want her to make an album because she's passionate and wants to make it.
