Unholy lost 1500 spins since last week. Right now its at 9200 spins, so even if it lose like 1000 spins until next friday and Bloody Mary gain like 100/200 spins, it will go Top10.

Let's not jinx it but yes, it is looking likely as long as it can hold up. Taylor's latest single followed a similar path were it struggled just outside the top 10 and then picked up significantly, maybe this can do something similar. Regardless, it just needs to not decrease.

This is what I'm hoping as well.

 

Even if Bloody Mary only peaks as high as top 40 on the Hot 100, it's building goodwill for Gaga's next major release. It reminds me of how Million Performances was a long-term play to help Gaga build goodwill post-ARTPOP.

The JFAD sound track really is going to be filled with jazz covers.

The iTunes comparison is a good analogy, but it's hard to say if Rain On Me was actually heard by more people even though its AI was significantly higher. At the end of the day, AI is a completely made up number based on where and at what time of day a radio spin occurred. How that number is calculated is a bit beyond my knowledge, but my understanding is that Mediabase and Neilson have some type of formula they tweak roughly several times each year based on whatever data they have to assign a certain AI per radio spin per location and time of day. Because of that, it's kind of impossible to say which song was actually heard by more people based on the AI because even if the AI calculation was exactly the same for both songs, it's all a made up number anyways.

 

I would say looking at the amount of spins each got would be a better indicator since there's no formula behind that like there is with AI so it's more of a fair comparison. But I have no idea how we can see overall spins unfortunately.

 

On top of all that, there's the fact that a lot less people were listening to the radio when Rain On Me came out because of the lockdowns at that time, so...you could make an argument that Bloody Mary has been heard on the radio by more people. Idk sorry this was far longer than it needed to be.
