I also remember a talk about her doing the remake of cabaret.  But who knows? She's always ahead of the time intentionally or unintentionally.

Given how many Cabaret/Bradley rumors were flying around and the fact that she randomly sang a bit of the opening number at the Oscars, I think Cabaret could be a big reference point for J:FáD. Her interpretation of Harley could be partly informed by Sally Bowles.

I'm really glad they're going with a genre of music that plays to Gaga's strengths. This genre is viewed as "real music" by the industry so if she kills it, which she will, it'll only further cement her spot in Hollywood and open SO many more doors. Broadway next!

Oh, okay thank you for your explanation ! That still means Rain On Me was more heard than Bloody Mary on the radio, right? It's kinda like iTunes being dead in 2023, so if a song does better on this platform than a song in 2011, it doesn't mean it's bigger. But both songs are huge hits! Not everyone has that 15 years in!
