Yeah, at least we know that she keeps working and giving us something to be excited about, even if not music-related. This would be the perfect time for her to release some droplets/collabs and test the waters on how her new music is being consumed by the GP. Like you said, an EP would be perfect too.

 

I can't help but feel like she will soon take a longer break and focus on her family for a while.

There are several films that do not get press announcement and kept to be secret until filming date. If that’s not the case, she has lots of time before JFAD release so if we assume her to film next role on 1st quarter of next year, the announcement may come this summer~fall. but who knows! this is all just guessing

It probably depends on the project and when it's going to be released. Everyone involved would be under an NDA until it's time to release info. It wouldn't be difficult for things to been kept under wraps. We'd start hearing rumors leading up to the announcement like we did with Joker.

There's something very elevated about this that still feels "Gaga" to me. It's so beautiful, and I would love an album era centered around imagery like this.

The commercial was shot last year and "selected stage" makes me think they'd prob just replicate the choreo routine in the commercial on an actual stage in a chosen venue which sounds really silly. But like... why? What's the point?

I don't mind her acting career I just wish she would do a few films every year or two instead of one film every three years.

Gaga is perfectly capable of balancing an active acting career and active music career. The trade-off would be that eras for any albums would probably not be long (not that they've historically been anyways. )

 

Even if she's releasing after J:FAD, long album stretches aren't exactly unfounded practices in music. Justin Timberlake came back strong after a long hiatus and Rihanna will likely come back strong as well when she releases. Gaga could absolutely do a 5-year+ stretch after Chromatica. It was a generally successful era and J:FAD is going to keep her name floating.

 

EDIT: Though, I do agree she should release more often. For being in a constant state of creation, you'd think she'd have more than 6 studio albums by now.

Miss Germanotta needs to release this year, otherwise all the content we're getting before J:FaD is a few sprinkled Vegas shows and her dad on Fox News making commentary on the Republican primary.
