Nope, it’s the oldest award given by film critics in the country and Gaga is the first singer turned actress to win it in 88 years. She also won a National Board of Review for Best Actress and Critics Choice Award for ASIB and pretty much across the board nominations for both leading roles that missing the Oscars for HOG was considered a snub so obvious that they offered her the honour of presenting Best Picture. Even Jane Campion spoke up for her at the time.
