A dark, gothic Bloody Mary is radio counter programming to the warm, fuzzy Christmas Songs. Miss Mary will then devour when Christmas Songs plummet after the holidays.

Real talk, I hope that Bloody Mary randomly smashing reminds her that she's always been at her best doing her own thing and pushing herself. She shouldn't doubt herself so much or feel like she needs to be safe to be liked

I hope this leads her to release Act 2 with reworked unreleased tracks in 2023: minimal work with her current schedule and maximum impact since she she established herself as a streaming darling for the last 4 years.

I adore Stupid God but it felt like a vanilla lead single. She obviously intended for Chromatica to be a big conmercial era.

Between TCB, Bloody Mary going viral (I’m still not over it because of all of her songs, I would have NEVER expected this would happen to Bloody ****ing Mary ) and the filming of Joker, I’m hoping and praying she’s inspired to fully dive back into her DarkGa bag. It truly is what she does best and where she shines the most, artistically.

Gaga is the only major pop star that has effectively used “darkness” throughout her whole career. It’s a major part of her brand. 
It has been seen both throughout her music and acting career. From bleeding to death during a VMA performance to her first major award winning acting gig, AHS Hotel. 
It just feels right that Bloody Mary is becoming a hit in 2023 while Gaga is currently filming her darkest movie role yet. 
Gaga sometimes flips a switch and becomes an old Hollywood jazz singer or guitar playing song writer, but dark Gaga is always there too

Yup, it should continue to pull good streams for some time. That's usually the case for a lot of tiktok viral songs, they tend to get a new life breathed into them after finding a new audience with all the exposure. There's a  possibility that with the right push in the coming weeks, we might see it booking a residency on the Global Spotify chart for even months on end, a DREAM 

 

And even when its streams eventually (and naturally) decrease, it will stabilize at a much, much higher rate than its previous daily avg (in Aug this year it was pulling 50k nnn ). But starting next year, it will also become a Halloween staple so that will help its streams as well.

 

The 6th official BTW single is thriving and ready to kick some serious ass
