Overall that award season opened my eyes to many different things going on, like Nicole still inexplicably trying to snatch another Best Actress Oscar (when before I thought she was pretty chill, also like...why gun hard for some flop Lucy movie that isn't even her best work? Last year was so weak and messy that Kidman almost won her second Oscar for that floppy Lucy movie. That’s why she was campaigning so hard. It would have been an easy win for her to pick up. 
 

Gaga deserved a nomination, but I don’t know how I would have felt if she won her BA for HOG. She did a great job in it, but I would prefer her to win BA for a giant legendary movie. Not a campy movie attached to razzie award winner Jared Leto 

(Chastain’s win is one of the most forgettable BA wins in a long time) 

Shallow demo has a bit of a Fleetwood Mac feel to it.

The thing was, Nicole already won that award, and that movie was not great (Bob). It'd be like Gaga attending and thanking every organization for her nomination for Hold My Hand (which she hasn't, thankfully), & going to all the roundtables for it. I think what I disliked was how they treated her and straight up singled her out for basically being strange/quirky, and claimed she was too desperate & thirsty while willfully ignoring everybody else's actually desperate tactics.

These updates are so weird nnn, yesterday it shot up 36 spots to #2 in Luxembourg by gaining 7x streams from the day before, then fell 30 spots today  guess it's the same case here and it's some sort of glitch(?)

Getting a second acting Oscar is a big deal especially for acting categories, it's different for getting a second BOS, they're rare the actors who have two, so it's understandable from a side why Kidman campaigned that hard, even if kissing the Globes ass secretly behind the scenes when they were supposed to be cancelled was definitely desperate.

In her case before the movie was out some pundits hyped a lot her performance claiming it was undeniable until the professional reviews came out and the reality was actually the opposite, she was the only one with legit pans in her personal reviews and also the only one who didn't win any critics regional.

The Globe win just secured her Oscar nomination, but there was no passion for her performance.

 

Movie pundits are basically stans in the Internet, they just push whoever they biasedly stan or have interest to, half of them last year had photos with Kristen Stewart in their profile pics hanging out in bars or Restaurants, small events, that is why they pushed her so much since the beginning, Gaga will never spend a whole night with them at dinners kissing their ass on their Z-list events also because she doesn't have the time in first.
