Brendan Fraser that is one of the favorite for this year for best actor he has already said he's not gonna attend even if nominated (he got molested in the past by a Globes member).

 

Some celebrities are gonna attend sure, others skip, we'll see only that day if the majority will skip or not.

 

Also in Gaga's case will see if she's gonna thank them, last year she didn't.

I'm surprised she went so hard when she already had a BA Oscar.

Also, it's crazy how Nicole & Jessica openly thanked them last year and got no flack at all.

Yeah, that's how she won when she was the one with the less acclaimed performance and 0 regionals wins, Jessica Chastain was also one of the few who was thanking them for a nomination.

 

Gaga being called desperate last year just for doing some interviews when these ladies were thanking even irrlevant awards circuits of 1 people with their public accounts

 

she shouldn't say anything about a GG nom that's literally nothing new for her. The only thing she should comment on is an Oscar nom

Exactly, the other women were definitely more desperate, Gaga's campaign was clean, under the eyes of everyone to see with the usual media outlets-interviews, she didn't host fancy dinners to secure votes.

Yep,

Overall that award season opened my eyes to many different things going on, like Nicole still inexplicably trying to snatch another Best Actress Oscar (when before I thought she was pretty chill, also like...why gun hard for some flop Lucy movie that isn't even her best work? Girl must be unfulfilled or something, IDK), that film twitter has the dullest, most vanilla bean taste in faves, and that you can literally start a film circle award and have it consist of 5 random bloggers, and have people act like it's a legitimate thing & even put in the campaign posters. Ugh, I hate that I'm still pressed about this, lol.
