The label were responsible for Bloodpop coming on board during Joanne. I guess they just hit it off; Gaga — being a noted Bayonetta connoisseur — probably loved the fact that he was a big gamer. He seemed to encourage the pop culture geek in her. Some of us just like to read etc 

Gaga does not have the Republican propaganda machine pushing mediocre elevator music to 90+ on MC. She has to succeed the hard way I fear.

Taylor Swift music couldn't be more bland and boring, absolutely no producers who worked with her, sure the result would be different with Gaga but still, not here for that.

This. Running after them would be desperate, and Gaga's strengths and pov are completely different from Blondie's 

 

She has the clout to get anyone she wants. A.G. Cook, Danny L Harle, Flume, just as examples, are cutting-edge producers who can do basically anything and would fit Gaga like a glove. Imagine an album full of forward-thinking soundscapes and production that's still accessible. 9.5 BNM I fear

I'm glad Gaga will do her own thing and not release a bland unseasoned album like Midnights. When I listened to the entire album of Midnights it felt like I was eating mashed potatoes, cold mac and cheese, undercooked green beans and cold undercooked chicken.
