We don't need ReDONE, him and Gaga made magic together 12 years ago but sadly he hasn't evolved ever since, what we really need is Count Baldor and Chris Greatti as producers for LG7, they are responsible for the best remix of DoC:  Replay (Dorian Electra Remix), imagine an album with 12 hyper rock tracks, her magnum opus I fear

ReDone hasn't done good music in a decade and only made bangers with Gaga cause she had the vision. Producers only produce what the artist themself wants and directs them to make. There's nothing she can do with him that she can't do with someone else.

I actually think amongst her old producers, Fernando Garibay, his gritty industrial sound, would be a good mix with her newer producers, or even Space Cowboy, wherever he may be - his style was always so cute and fun, he's also kind of the the forebearer of hyperpop.

 

I'm not sure RedOne still has it anymore. I think if they collaborated and it was terrible to mediocre, everyone here would blame Gaga and not RedOne, lol.

No offence but sounds like a total mess with little cohesion and clashing production styles. Not to mention the old vs new schools of thought to song production. I'll pass.

The way y'all keep dreaming about Nadir and Fernando coming back when she probably ain't even in touch with them anymore with unanswered texts rotting on her phone ddd. The only ones that have a chance at returning are Daddy Ronson and DJWS, lbr.

 

 

But I'd much rather prefer a fresh sound and slate of producers tbh. As long as Ga is in the driver's seat and executive producing, I'm good.

y'all will hate, but I'd love another Mark Ronson album. Joanne hasn't aged great, and I think it's really too all over the place, but they can obviously do classic-ry together as seen with Shallow 

 

would love a more cohesive Mark Ronson effort.

Like we wouldn't eat Poker Face up if she released it today. To be fair, RedOne's work outside Gaga it's not his best, but with her if it's not a hit(poker face, alejandro, just dance, bad romance...) it's a fan favorite (Scheisse, Gypsy). Their last effort together is Gypsy (i believe) and it does not sound as her older hits, and being completely real even if it sounds "dated" i think most of us would love to know how a Gaga + RedOne song would sound like now that both of them got more experience (specially apart from eachother).

Last day of Grammy voting  3 weeks until we see how much support our girlie got, but realistically keeping expectations at 1 nomination

If she has to work with Mark Ronson again, I'm down with it, but it has to be the Amy Winehouse kind of sound.

 

 

Miss Gar should pander to TikTok marketing. She's a very promo sensitive artist, and Gen Z's are willing to actually stream her songs.

Also, isn't Garibay a very territorial producer with a huge ego and difficult to work with or sumn like that or am I misremembering? Like I STAN all his work with Godga but he seems to be a bit of an ass. I genuinely don't think she's in touch with him anymore unlike a fleeting possibility with ReDone who always seemed like a nice and humble collaborator. He also threw her under the bus for some royalty coins from that EY/BTW mess so um yeah, he's def in the past now move on girls

Yeah, I've always said at least one song with RedOne today I need to hear how it would sound.

Realistically the one that has more chances to come back is Bloodpop, see also that she brought her girlfriend at the Don perignon event just the other day.

 

The Top Gun song could have been made with another producer that fit more those kind of movie songs ballads but instead she remained with him.

Her TikTok promo needs to be massive with new era, also because she's good at it, her tiktok videos are well done.

Well yeah, but she's done Joanne + entirety of Chrome + HMH (which tbf, was written sometime in late 2019/early 2020 alongside Chrome sessions) with him. So far she has never kept a co-producer around for more than two consecutive albums (barring ReDone for obvious reasons) and is always rotating/changing her roster. And if it's a genre shift then that's even more unlikely that he comes back.

 

I mentioned those two bc she has known Mark for a long time and they obv have great chemistry and she considers WS her "brother" (and the fact that he was also going to produce original LG6). Plus they're both extremely versatile and have great range in their production discographies and work with her. 

 

If anything, maybe we'll see WS return since she'd want to get him some gig after he went to therapy (?) for sobriety. But I don't mind that since WS is actually one of her best and most dynamic producers.
