Several things could play in Gaga's favor (especially if her team plays their cards right which is debatable)

 

1. Gaga has an overdue narrative that Sabrina doesn't. That should help sway some pop voters. This will be especially necessary given Kendrick has one too. Her team really needs to push the "No GF wins" narrative. 
 

2. Cirkut and Andrew Watt can campaign for Mayhem behind the scenes to other industry people. Jack Antonoff will be split between Sabrina and Kendrick, and I'm guessing will probably campaign more for the latter given his chances would be higher. 
 

3. Mayhem is Gaga's most critically-acclaimed album. MBF isn't Sabrina's. 
 

4. I think Mayhem has more genres it could nab a few votes from than MBF both due to Gaga doing them in the past and Mayhem exploring them. 
 

Now I just wanna say that I think Abra probably isn't going to win in the GF regardless of it Manchild makes it there or not (and I don't think that wins either). It deserves to, but stats tell me it's not too likely. SOTY will probably either go to Luther or Boredinary, and ROTY has gone to a #1 song 11 out of the last 16 ceremonies. But Abra's chances are higher in record than song. I think Gaga's best GF shot is AOTY. Kendrick's going to be massive competition there. I think Gaga's biggest advantages would be that Mayhem has more genres it could pull votes from and Kendrick swept ROTY/SOTY last year. I can't think of a time that an artist swept GF two years in a row, especially since Luther looks like it could be pretty strong in ROTY/SOTY too.

Sabrina swept pop categories this year so Gaga has an upper hand here.

My Predication- Gaga will win 1 pop category and 1 dance category. 2 wins in total. No GF wins (as usual)

It most likely won't, the concern is that it will vote-split with pop voters making it harder to win GF categories

I will say that if Kendrick wins AOTY this year and Mayhem gets nominated, then Gaga will become the artist with the most AOTY noms without a win (Kanye has more but most are as producer and I don't see him winning in the future due to the Nazi-shift he's made) so they better ******* hammer that narrative on any album going forward.

This same academy gave Harry ******* Styles AOTY back in 2022 when just about every nominated album was better  but AOTY is still the biggest music award in the Western music industry so I'm still hoping for it even if they've made some bad choices in the past
