I would take this. I mean just don't see her having nothing to release in years, especially she's now in a very good mood and her carreer is in a very good place.

 

I'm sure nobody in her camp and Interscope want LG7 to be the biggest commercial failure of her career (Gaga included). In streaming era, not releasing anything in years can be dangerous. HMH already had big issues on Spotify.

8th #1: Bad Bunny collab for LG8 in 2025

 

Then she would only need one more #1 to match a certain popgirl who has more #1s and who's fans been always attacking us for it...not that it matters but you know...it's fun to win the long race

HMH being a underperforming song while supporting the biggest movie smash of the last few years (and being totally eclipsed by One Republic song) + being the kind of music she got the GP on ASIB, doesn't not sounds good to me

She needs big collabs on next album for sure. But yeah I really hope Gaga will get another solo smash hit one day.

Who cares? I’m not here for trendy collabs for the sake of a hit. You guys can’t complain about OGHs saying #ThankYouAri etc when you are in here begging for droplets with Bad Bunny. Gaga has a catalog of hits already and will get more. Just enjoy the music and think about it creatively as opposed to just commercially. 

Imagine if she was asked to do the world cup theme with Bad Bunny bit she had to decline due to the homophobic rules there.

Hold My Hand doesn’t hold a candle to ASIB songs. It’s way overproduced and noisey, not to mention the horrible intro.

Exactly. And honestly I'd much rather Gaga just focus on making LG7 the best possible album it can be then quick collabs for No.1s

You can have big trendy collabs that feels totally natural. That's what is Rain On Me. Ariana is trendy and the collab feels real because it's literally sincere. 

I don't see why she would only have great chemistry with some old fashioned or underground artists. 

 

If a Gaga x Doja Cat or Bad Bunny happens that's Gaga is feeling it. Just like she felt a Gaga x Tony Bennett was a good idea.

Using HMH to jump to conclusions about her success is  

 

I've been a Holy My Feet apologist from day 1 and that song had no chance to become a big hit. Overall its just not very memorable. The lyrics and production aren't really that special or moving, she sounds great on it but that's not new for her. It served its purpose as this cheesy emotional ballad to close the movie and will end up with cute numbers compared to many soundtrack songs. I still think it will snatch many noms during the awards season and hopefully another Oscar nom in the basket for her.
