She really is, I knew she was a supporter of her during all the HOG awards season, she was the only one pundit predicting and supporting her in Goldderby, but I wasn't expecting her to be a real stan-fan like this, kind of shook.

Nah, I'm kinda over Grammys. An Oscar win for Best Actress would automatically put her in the legend category no matter what anyone else says.

I don’t really care for HMH apologists. Gar having the Top Gun should’ve become one of her biggest hits but she completely fumbled the bag & released one of the bottom 5 worst songs of her career. A shame

yeah. after thr mess of L4S winning the engineered grammy but then losing AOTY, i feel like it won't happen for her. On the other hand, she just needs the right project for the Best Actress Oscar.

Too soon to say. Madonna was also thought reaching her peak in her early years and had like one of the impressive rebound while being in her 35-45 years when she released Ray of Light, Music, American Life and Confession on a Dancefloor. She made her legend status in concrete at that time.

 

Could definitely see Gaga having a new breath in her music career in her late 30s / 40s.

Yeap, only a Gaga project could have managed to win that category that usually secure the win in AOTY only to loss it at the end and in a very weak year

She's never going to win any general field.

 

And let's face it, the fact she has 13 still remains impressive for a divisive artist like her, all wins in very competitive categories with high competition, in general artists like her tend to have nothing or very few (see Cher, Madonna, Bjork, ecc.)

Same but I thought the same thing before ASIB, and again before Chrome, and she has had #1s for both eras. Not to mention Bey was not doing well singles-wise until the right song (and payola) hit. Anything's possible tbh. Gar has the public goodwill now so it's entirely possible that the GP will support when she decides to release the right material.

This is another argument that proves my point actually, despite those hit-acclaimed albums Madonna never managed to win AOTY, for ROL or Confessions she definitely deserves.

 

Artists like Madonna, Cher or Gaga are too divisive for the Grammys to win in big categories no matter how much successful or acclaimed their projects are, they will always go for the safe choice or the one that is convenient to pretend they award quality like this year with Batiste or Beck back in the day.
