LOL I would argue that all musicians/songwriters jobs are to exploit.  Kelly included.  "making use of a situation or treating others unfairly in order to gain an advantage or benefit."  Songs are typically a one sided perspective.  And Taylor hasn't done anything more than use a guys first name in a song, and even then she was a practically a kid, so the dig at her was kinda rude.

It did, but only for it's first day. If fell out of the Spotify charts everywhere on the second day. Since then, none of her (non-Christmas) songs have charted on Spotify.

 

She’s never been a streaming artist unfortunately. I think a more upbeat or angry song is her best shot at a streaming or TikTok hit.

the mine/me vinyl and some of the 3000 spotify copies seems to be shipped in August. But most of the variants are shipped on the album release day.

I think “mine” numbers are great considering she’s barely on any popular playlists. Spotify did her dirty by not even putting her on Pop Rising 

Those numbers aren’t decent. But not shocking considering her playlisting. Let’s hope Mine is promo sensitive and they have things planned.

Wasn't expecting much from streaming numbers one way or the next.

 

It's all quite soft-launch though, right? Unlike MOL/LSS which had launch press event night, stream, leaked album live songs via social media, EW Cover, Today Show next morning etc.

 

This has had a couple of social media announcements and some teasing/announcements on socials.

Seems like promo won't be so heavy from the get go this time around. Perhaps they're saving the bigger pushes toward the album drop in June when she'll have a more open schedule. I do wonder when she'll start doing the daytime/late night talk show circuit. Hoping she can make it back to New York to do all the press available there, but again, that may be put off until June.
