I didn’t have any expectations in terms of commercial success for the songs or album.  Kelly just doesn’t have it like that anymore, despite her being more of a household name than arguably ever.  But she hasn’t been popular for her original music in a long time (outside of Xmas).  
 

I just want the music to be good and I hope her Vegas show will be good too.

I just really like tracking the numbers. I tried trawling through the depths of the KCE to find LSS/MY but I only found my older threads (I left it around the time of MoL as it became so toxic lol) so those numbers evade me at an easy find.

I’ve just searched the KCE and so far I can only find iTunes chart positions… I swear

apparently: “Debuts at #81 on Spotify US and #110 on Spotify Global”

 

But nobody bothered to write down streaming numbers it seems

Oh bummer. I saw Pinks first single off her new album did around 690,000 so we are not too far off. Pink is a lot more global. The good thing is that I was reading in Pinks Trustfall thread and she had little to no playlisting like Kelly (they threw pink on that ‘just good music’ playlist too) but now that song is on a bunch of the playlists. Just sucks how they treat older artists. 
 

plus we had fans splitting their streams between “me” and “mine”

The numbers were likely posted in all the threads we used here in 2017, but looks like those are long gone 

 

Maybe try old threads from that time at Pulse, PopJustice, or UK Mix?

Yeah I got some radio and iTunes stuff from pulse, but seems that Spotify wasn’t something they focused on

Tbh that’s not that much lower really, we will have better longevity with this song though

The more I listen to ‘Mine’ the more I think it might be her best lead single. It’s mature, it’s lyrically solid, and just has such a great vibe to it. I absolutely love it. I‘m not expecting any commercial success for her in this day and age, but I do think with the right pushes this song could really have legs. And I really would love to see it because I feel it’s so deserving. 
 

‘Me’ is nice, but it’s exactly what you’d expect from Kelly and it absolutely sounds like a MOL reject. Vocally amazing though, we’re just spoiled as KC fans that it’s not surprising to us.
