Well the strike is going to go on through the fall so I guess thats it for public promo of the album. She'll probably back out of good morning America and any other planned appearances. 
 

Hopefully something organic happens to give the era some momentum.

Same, I expected it to be better, but I still like it. Don’t think it’ll push the song to where lots of us want it to go (in front of people so they know she has new music out/coming out)

I find it curious if those are the ones that most resonated that they’re seemingly not prereleasing them

Yeah Lighthouse was my favorite - but I like Kelly's (sad) ballad's (ie sober/tightrope)

 

I think the OG Kelly fans gravitated towards Red Flag Collector and Rock Hodson - I did enjoy Down To You though I remember - I feel it had one of the better hooks.

RFC coming out before the album will be interesting. Of memory, what sort of song is it? A ballad, mid tempo, up tempo etc? Rocky, poppy, r&b?

They just announced the line up for the soundtrack and no Kelly but the bottom says more to be announced but doubt it tbh. 
 

edit: maybe. The press release says even more to be announced closer to release. And most of the artists are from Altantic

Isn’t there that track called “all of me” or something to that extent that was uploaded to Spotify- but has no song to it?? 

She did do a barbie cast interview shortly before the strikes- 

Not sure. But she mentioned movie related thing in the Popcorn promo. Also Warner is in charge of this album and Atlantic is one of the biggest labels of Warner. So fingers crossed

The partial for the Guetta remix isn't out yet, I don't know if the calculations for previous partials to first day will be accurate due to:

• David Guetta's popularity in NZ/Aus etc
• Midweek and not on any playlists yet

 

In any case, numbers for day before remix release are steady:

[still a bigger increase than any day for 'me' other than the opening day]

Based on previous for this era...

 

mine approx 10k -> 515k

me approx 5k -> 209k

fkoh approx 8.5k -> 316k

 

so if it follows a similar trend, it should open with around 100k tomorrow

RFC was up tempo pop rock, very catchy, huge horn section at the end.

 

And I would maybe consider myself an OG fan, was SUPER excited for Rock Hudson from the leaked clips and piece by piece mention, and it ended up being one of my least favorites at the show. The verses and hook and bridge are all great, I even like the ending a lot, but the chorus was lacking something for me.  And I don't remember hearing the electric guitar solo that was in the leaked clips so that took away a bit as well
