Am I crazy or did I read a few months back that her album was going to sound like "She's Homeless" or "Can't Get You Outta My Head" or "7th Element" by Vitas, etc... and other songs that use the Korg M1 Synth Organ Bass Preset that was used 90's house music?

Why What Makes A Woman??? It's only 2 minutes long, the production coming out of one ear in the first verse is very annoying and gives me flashbacks to all the times my earphones stop working and I'm too lazy to buy another one and she tried pushing it during the Smile era and nobody cared. She could've performed Only Love instead!!

Neither option would be particularly ideal when she's had several songs go viral on TikTok in recent months (The One That Got Away, Wide Awake, Teenage Dream) that would have made for a better performance when the Teenage Dream sound is what people are currently nostalgic for. Not a Smile album track. Such a weird decision.

 

I don't know how there's nobody on her team willing to step in and say this.
