Maybe 143 is the amount of songs on the album? Get that #1 debut queen. 

She needs to act in the next 2 weeks, start teasing in a week with some butterfly pics, teasers, insta blackout, random billboards, and then release the lead the week after!

Agreed, if she had said nothing and teased nothing until now, we would've actually been hyped at all the butterflies and the 143s, but instead it's been going on for like 9 ******* months. Istg, if the teasing era lasts longer than the actual era... Also no, promo singles aren't the way to go, they're only an open invitation for people to write her off when it underperforms (as expected). After all the teasing, we need a big lead single that is promoted on TTH, radio deal and with performances, like SNL, Jimmy Kimmel and all the other places we got Daisies live. Odds are, it'll still underperform but I don't see any other way how she gets a hit.

yeah 143 sucks as an album title, but I think this will be the name of KP6.

Btw I'm happy AI has finally ended, but we should be grateful that it happened because it helped Katy a lot to re-brand herself after Witness era. You can go and check on their page and see how people keep praising her as a judge by saying she will be missed.

The way to go would be to post a snippet of the song on TikTok and see if it catches on. That is how Unholy became a hit and Sam Smith definitely has a lot less star power than her.

At this point it cannot get worse, she has literally nothing to loose. If album is called 143 then… well, she never learns. And y'all make her feel witness was such a good era, while the whole justice for witness mess. Whatever. I'm slowly losing interest, if nothing comes in one month then it's over.

I don't think there was any potential to promote the lead or the album during Idol, the audience of that show is a completely different target. 
 

But the constant teasing that's been going on for not just months but literally years is just a mess.  
 

I feel like it might flop because any hype will die before the release. And the kats are just fed up with her giving the same teasers over and over again.

Literally. And this narrative that she's been robbed, the Hollywood, the president, the whole government and the pope all collectively didn't want her to rise and smash. The truth is witness was mess. I love her and I know her potential that's why I'm still here waiting for her real comeback, expecting album as good as prism at least. Y'all don't be so sure that she will, because we don't know. She may if she has learned from her past mistakes. But if not and if she is in this "I was robbed, witness was misunderstood " mindset then we're lost. 
 

 

To add something positive, it really makes sense if May 22 is the 143 day of the year. It's in 2 days from today, we will find out soon enough.

I don't know. It doesn't make sense to believe in that theory about the 143rd day of the year being used to just make an announcement (?). She should use it to release the single and begin the era, but May 22 already so close, I bet nothing will happen. July/August here we go

I love the concept, but the word "monarch" just doesn't work for me. It sounds so 2013 or C-list (which maybe is the point). 

She showed not only the number 143 on her fingers, but also showed a countdown, gradually bending them. Yes, it seems that we are really talking about May 22. Otherwise it doesn't make any sense.
