I have to agree unfortunately. She had the biggest chance in the world to really make that 'long black hair return with a banger', and the song she chose was….WIG. I'm not saying it's a bad song by any means, but it's incredibly basic and bland even for a radio-fodder type of song. That is not a song you would consider a "back to form" especially in the state of her career at the time.

So excited for her comeback and been revisiting her music more recently. Usually not a fan of the sped up or slowed down trend of songs but NRO is such a masterpiece i honestly love all versions of it

I don't think it would be a smart move especially because she's far behind her prime time. She cannot do any kind of surprise releases, I mean even if the hype is somehow there, she still needs to do a proper announcement.

This feels like something AI would create based on When I'm Gone aesthetics, it's a good cover but it doesn't feel like the cover she'd go with.
