I always forget she doesn't see herself the way we see her  I don't remember her talking about Dignity though yet in the interview. Also, with What Dreams Are Made Of, she likes it now!

I think Perez is talking nonsense because Hilary's alluded to a tour happening twice in this interview. Jake is making it too focused on her past and it's funny in the sense that she barely remembers anything. We need her talking more about Mature and the album.

Also, did anyone catch Hilary mentioning Marco from way back in the day? She also referred to that group of people in her life back then as "sweet friends" so I wonder if she's still in touch with them?

About Marco… when she mentioned him I was like "wow though they didn't talk anymore" and then she mentioned the condom thing and I guess this was wayyyy before their friendship? Maybe it was a different friend? Marco and not Marcus, the hair stylist. 

and if she was talking about the music video on that day which was recorded on October 22. It means that footage from Halloween wasn't happening that day.

Yeah. They didn't even acknowledged the album lol

I didn't really know what to expect from this interview and well, it was fun, but he talks to much about himself and he should have ask her about the rest of the album.

 

Can't wait for the next interview (hopefully she books Fallon)

Best interviews will definitely come from podcasts. They just need to know which one to book. 

The way I learned nothing substantial about this era. He talked more about her old movies and even those were shallow, and they keep jumping to another topic before it even gets interesting.

It's still possible that the halloween shoot was for the music video. Because she said there was a moment with butterflies.

 

they could have done reshoots because they realized they needed more footage while editing the video

Marco is the cousin of Britney who was Hilary's best friend during Metamorphosis through to the Most Wanted era. They're both included on the Island Birthday Bash and Learning to Fly specials as mentioned by @ItsRic. The photo she briefly touched on is from 2004 when she was shopping somewhere in LA with Marco. I always believed the condom was a Photoshop job for tabloid fodder, but given she alluded in the interview that she was already sexually active at that time, maybe it was legit.

It was a nice podcast appearance that focused more on Hilary's personal life (which I know were lowkey tired of as she's gearing up to make a career comeback). Her forgetful ness has always been hilarious, but her asking him if he remembered what he did at 14 did truly put it into perspective…

 

Hilary's peak was SO long ago, how is she supposed to remember, as she's obviously not going back like we do and rewatching this stuff on her free time.

 

We really, really do need some more on Dignity though. Such a secretive time in her life. I found it funny how she specifically mentioned her trip to Sweden when talking about how in the past she'd be sent to work with writers because of who they worked with or had success with.
