Just bought it from the US iTunes Store. So glad to see her at #2!

If you'd like to support her by purchasing her song directly from the US iTunes Store, here's a simple step-by-step guide.

🇺🇸 How to Buy a Song from the US iTunes Store (for non-US residents)

Step 1: Create a US Apple ID

  • Go to appleid.apple.com and create a new Apple ID.

  • When asked for your country or region, select United States.

  • You'll need to enter a US address, you can use the address and phone number of any public place such as a café, restaurant, or mall (you can find one easily on Google Maps).

Step 2: Log in to the US iTunes Store

  • On your phone or computer, sign in with your new Apple ID.

  • Make sure your iTunes / Apple Music account is showing the US Store (this should be the case since you have a US address).

Step 3: Add Funds with a US iTunes Gift Card

  • Visit a trusted gift card site such as Dundle.com or another reputable retailer.

  • Purchase a US iTunes gift card (a $2 card is sufficient).

  • You'll get the digital code on screen or receive it by email within minutes, depending on the gift card site you choose.

Step 4: Redeem the Gift Card

  • Open iTunes or the Apple Music app.

  • Go to your account and select Redeem Gift Card or Code.

  • Enter the code you received to add the balance to your account.

 Step 5: Buy the Song!

  • Search for Mature - Hilary Duff in the US iTunes Store.

  • Click Buy, confirm the purchase, and you're done 🙌

I honestly feel so lucky to have this little space where I can share my love for Hil with others that admire her as much as I do and it's just so awesome that some of us have known each other since th

Excited to see what other press follows today. We're off to a slow push but hopefully more traction will follow in the coming days. I'm genuinely happy that she's receiving mostly a positive response from OG fans as well as the general public, would just like to see a little more advertising/marketing from her team to further help getting her name back out there.

By the way, if the residency rumours prove true, it's for sure gonna be called What Dreams Are Made Of.

Are they all produced by Matthew, or are there other producers involved in this project too?

She's at number two which is awesome

But we will have to wait and see  the streaming numbers

Probably they all are. But Dan Book is back, so maybe he co produced with Matthew. They both co wrote and co produced BIBO (the song) and Arms Around a Memory.

I'm not surprised but if this does well more producers will want to work with her

I think Matt has a studio in their house so it was probably easier for her to record at home then flying to meet with producers

interesting discovery! but tbh all these titles scream Matthew Koma. Im guessing he has writing credits on all of those.

Yes, he has credits on all of them.

Made a list with all the other writers and a few songs they work on… and there's something interesting:

  • Brian Douglas Phillips (from his website most of his production are for folk and country artists I never heard before)
  • Maya Kurchner (Coffee by Chappell and I AM by Bebe)
  • Brittany Marie Amaradio (Ruin The Friendship by Demi and Without Me by Halsey)
  • Thomas Delonge (vocalist/guitarist on Blink-182)
  • Mark Hoppus (also a member of Blink-182)
  • Zachary Michael Kardon (couldn't find much. But also looks like a folk producer)
  • Scott Raynor (another member or Blink-182)
  • Dan Book (Swimming in The Stars and Liar by Britney, Ghost of You by 5 Seconds of Summer and Miss Moving On by 5th Harmony)

Guess TO uses somehow a Blink-182 song.

Different times. Youtube was way bigger in 2014

Based on that picture of the tracklist on the whiteboard & the newly registered songs, you can definitely tell these tracks:

Spoiler

1. Roommates

2. Weather for Tennis

3. Mature

4. Tell Me That Won't Happen

5. Future Tripping

10. Optimist

It's hard to make the other ones out

Do we know if this is one of those situations where she had music done and just brought it to a record label to help distribute and stuff?? Or did she just announce her signing to Atlantic waaay after the fact?

Yes she had the album ready. As far was we know the deal with Atlantic was closed in Sept.

it seems to also be a distribution deal

I remember the video performing really well on YouTube, with millions of views, but I don't recall the song charting that high on iTunes. I also don't remember Hilary reacting to it the way she did when BIBO hit #1.

Considering digital sales were still a major factor back then, why do you think the song didn't chart well on the Billboard Hot 100? Could it have been the lack of radio airplay?

Maybe I'm getting confused, and it was BIBO that went straight to #1
