So what is the point in signing with Atlantic then, if they don't invest in playlisting, physicals or radio at all…

 

Unless this is just a teaser single, and an actual lead single in early 2026 will get the proper rollout / treatment.

But yeah I am keeping my expectations low now regarding Atlantic.

I think Mature is about the same man she wrote about on Danger (we don't really know much about who she dated between Joel and Mike) and also I really hope she gets a residency btw, I live in Canada and would fly to see her in Vegas in a heartbeat!

It's true that we never knew if she rebounded after Joel to help push her through the break up. There could be a correlation between the songs, which could be a great question to ask her in a future interview, but not in a prying way...just a "fans are wondering if Mature is about the same guy you wrote about on Danger from your album Dignity?"

I definitely recall her saying Danger was written about a friend's experience with seeing an older man. But using "friend" could have just been a deliberate way of avoiding any further questions...

 

She probably forgot Danger exists anyways

If Vegas is all she ends up doing, I hope the show is professionally filmed and released down the line for the fans who can't travel their way to see her. She will probably enjoy the consistency schedule a residency offers, so if it becomes successful, she might be able to extend it and continuously change it up to keep it fresh. This also guarantees an amazing stage production.

ideally i'd love for her to tour and especially, stop by Asia. if it aint in my country then its fine i'll fly out 😭 she still has a fanbase here. not big, but decent enough if she were to go for a theatre-sized show.

 

but like you guys mentioned, with 4 kids and all at school-going age, i think she would want something she has less of a headache scheduling. 

 

also just an observation, i havent seen her post anything about/with lauren in a while now? 

I can see it happen, a Residency could be easy for her… but she needs to do some dates in Europe and Asia too. Like Adele did in Monaco

Yeah especially since she didn't tour Europe during the Dignity Tour.

 

I remember when she launched the BIBO era, there was a map on her website where fans could vote for locations that her tour should visit.

Unfortunately a tour never substantiated, but there were quite some international locations that had lots of votes.
