I can't in good faith say I don't wish RO was more the darker vibe of H and TS ... but I still really love what we got. She was 11-of-11 for me, idc idc. The production is (so safe but) so slick. Perfect warm weather vibes, and I like the album more and more over time.

Yup.$$$$$$. She has become the brand herself rather than the music per se in my view. Nothing wrong with that for her personally, and you can see why companies want to associate with her image and lifestyle. It's very aspirational.

So I really do not think this is because the lack of releases. It's their excuse but this all started when the last era under performed and she was getting dragged. It's because they're too wrapped up in the charts and accolades and streaming numbers. Just like the talk of how we won't have DL4 until 2030 or earlier when we have reasons as to why there's bigger gaps between her three releases.

Maybe that's just me being slightly delusional but I believe we'll have the first single by this time next year, at the very latest.
