Also, the way she takes forever to release music works against her. She needs to release an album 1 to 2 years apart to be continuously part of the conversation. See Sabrina, Billie, Charli, Rihanna, Taylor. Rihanna, with who Dua has the biggest similarities in terms of career, released 8 albums in 10 years while it took Dua the same amount of time to release 3…

No but it's trew. She still releases like it's the 2010s when it's been proven time and time again that droplets build momentum. She needs to let go of her perfectionism at times

She needs to fire Duki & hire Selena Gomez' manager cuz the way Selena was able to top both the Hot 100 & BB200 (this one multiple times) despite being a flop & not having even 10% of Dua's talent. Like what… And that was after she had a droplet era that built momentum.

If DL4 ain't coming this year, they better release 5+ droplets to bring her back into the front of the industry

Apparently she makes truly horrible music during the first period of album-making (see all the insiders saying the songs she's making now are ****) to get to some good ones so

You'd think after 3 albums you could speed up that process a little bit but alas, there's vacations to be had and a wedding to plan

I think that part of having leaks are good to take some notes of people wants for you and Guide the direction , i can count how Many artist hear it FN leaks and took/copy notes about her next music releases

That's not true at all (maybe this time is) but in the first period of FN she made Levitating,Love Is Religion,Physical

The way Dua's career has been mismanaged the past few years needs to be studied

She will never be a great album seller there is just no narrative around her that incentivizes people to buy her stuff.. so all we need is the music to be good

I still find it funny that people think she would have a major career change if she had a different manager. Any new manager she gets would work FOR her, so would probably do the same as her dad. At the end of the day she took a lot of control after leaving TAP.

Charli, Raye, Chappell, Zara, Gracie Abrams, Tate, Olivia Dean, etc could debut with +500k sales on BB with their next works and they still would only be considered as her opening acts in 95% of the countries in this world.



The biggest indicator of popularity and demand (and $$$$) are the tours, something she has already proven to have, even surpassing legendary artists like the ex-Disney acts, Rihanna or her "mother". I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years she ends doing a residency in LV or London.



Her only problem is that she has never had a peak of popularity as big as other pop artists exclusively in the US. Since they are the ones who control the media narratives, the place where sm focuses and bases its opinions, that's why her career is so downplayed

It's the same thing that happens to Shakira, Pink and even Rihanna (despite all her #1s)

I mean the biggest indicator is how my OG fave (and her peer) was able to debut with 200K, beating Ariana on fan votes awards, having the biggest song of the year... and now not even being able to fill a theater or debut inside Spotify's top 50... I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it



Dua's case is "special", but it's far from being something bad

I agree some strong collabs/droplets would be cute, and also give her discography some more body. I love the smash One Kiss and the grammy winning Electricity, but her tour setlists could some more bops to change things up or rotate things once in a while
