  1. You can't really compare streaming equivalent units to actual sales. You also have to remember Madonna sold 300 million records when there were like 2 billion fewer people on earth.
  2. Mid-Air is a near perfect album, can't wait to hear what she's been working on!!
  3. The absolute worst is when it sounds like it's been the exact same oontz oontz beat for 30 minutes with no vocal. The kind of music you have to be on drugs to enjoy. I want pop remix, my-disco, vocal house.
  4. I was thinking this too - the good old days when people shot at the president and didn't miss.
  5. I could barely get through one listen of this racket…maybe I need to give it another spin?
  6. Two of the best to ever do it.
  7. The tabloids trying to stir up drama and make Britney seem crazy?? Pause for my shocked face. Notice how everyone who actually meets her and spends time with her only ever had lovely things to say about how kind and generous she is. And the people who relied on her antics to make $$ in the mid 2000s haven't been able to find a new angle so they just jeep playing the same one. It's exhausting. Can't imagine how hard it must be on her even after all this time.
  8. Demi was my first thought too. She has a big voice but lacks control and her artistic vision has been inconsistent. RAYE has mentioned Christina as an influence and there is a touch of Back To Basics in Where Is My Husband? for sure.
  9. She went to a restaurant for dinner then drove home…the horror! People have much to say about her when she stays home and minds her business too. She's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. The lack of compassion after she's suffered so much is predictable but still disappointing.
  10. I really enjoyed most of Roisin Machine but pretty much stopped listening to her entire discography when her original comments came out. Seems like that was the right decision. Truly sad someone with such a large queer audience has decided to alienate so many of us. I don't understand why people with zero trans people in their lives feel so compelled to comment on issues they don't have any particular insight on. Hopefully one day I can give up listening to Royal T by Crookers but that's gonna be tough for me. A banger.
  11. Omg how to choose. Levitating solo, New Rules or Physical are some of the best pop songs of all time.
  12. Cannot stop listening to the album. Her anger, disbelief, anxiety are all so vividly on display. I saw the Guardian described it as an 'exorcism' of an album. You can tell it was all pent up and needed somewhere to go. Hard to choose favourite songs as it sort of demands to be listened to in full but Tennis, ***** Palace, Nonmonagamummy, and Beg For Me are all among the best songs of 2025. So many jaw dropping moments lyrically but "you're not a stranger Madeline" followed by the gunshots…gag worthy.
  13. There is literal crack in the "wanna take over your body like it's Freaky Friday" part of the chorus. Can't get enough.
  14. The more time I spend with this album the more I like it. She's so charismatic. The reference point is VERY specific so I can understand it alienating some listeners but it's a very strong and well constructed project. And the video for Gorgeous I mean…my god. So stunning!
