It’s not like the barbz are gonna let anyone else have it. If it’s close they’ll buy it even more to secure it. It’s fine, Bey has a chance again the following week with more airplay and the visuals.

Even if none of the non-singles go beyond their peak, I'm coming around to Bey stretching this era so that it's not flash in the pan thing.

Yea I change my mind as well Alien Superstar should be the 2nd single, it's hitting me more and more with each listen

Im also for Alien as the second single, it came on shuffle last night and my girlfriends went up for it.

I’m more impressed that Bey snatched the #1 spot for two weeks than anything. If the song doesn’t see the top spot again, it’s mission was already accomplished. Definitely think it has another chance once the visuals drop. 
 

What I really hope is the 2nd single is chosen and ‘released’ the day the videos drop.

Literally this entire album is perfect but the chorus to Alien Superstar is the most infectious IMO. It just has that something that really takes you there and I think the public reception is a clear indicator of that. 

I wish I could see what y’all see in Alien Superstar.

U guys, I just heard Pure on a HUGE stage for a festival yesterday. Hearing "bad ******* to the left" with maximum volume bass and round about 5000 gays around + dancers on the stage vogueing was an experience I didnt know I needed

The first day of release everyone was talking about how Church Girl should be the next single and had TikTok potential, and now everyone seems to have turned on it.

There's honestly NOTHING as exhilarating as hearing RENAISSANCE blasting from loud speakers in a gay/queer space.

 

It's amazing how everybody already knows every word and goes CRAZY. Black gays, white gays, the drag Queens, even the masc gays, everyone is getting their lives.

 

This album truly is for the girls, gays and theys as they say. The community has really responded. It's her most queer album, and her being a gay icon really makes it feel like a love letter to us!

 

I just love it

somehow Beyoncé’s interpretation of classic dance music feels more authentic to the genre than a silk sonic or a doja cat feature. it cheapens the brand
