Woke up with the album first thing on my mind, all day all I can hear, think about, talk about all day is the album, like......  

After staying up late listening to Renaissance multiple ways.. I was able to create a review on it: 

Renaissance takes Beyonce' on an eccentric yet enthralling sonic adventure. Unlike her past projects, Beyonce is stepping into newfound territory with dabbing into various sub-genres within the electronic/dance scene (ex. Alien Superstar, All Up In Your Mind, Pure/Honey) while providing luscious R&B grooves (ex. Plastic Off The Soda and Virgo's Groove). There are multiple aspects that I love and admire about her risk taking throughout this album. One aspect that goes unnoticed is how her vocals are reminiscent of her DIL era, the luscious velvety vocals are notable here and fit the sound she's attempting here. Overall, this is a very good album that may not win over people who were expecting another thought provoking album, however as someone who missed Beyonce' having fun again this album proves she's still that girl and can progress her sound beyond our wildest imagination.

I love that a lot of the samples are Bey paying homage to the dearly departed and helping keep their legacies alive. Moi Renee, Teena Marie, Donna Summer, Lyn Collins, Princess Loko. 

The way she incorporated the samples on this album was precisely done. It did add a layered dimension to the tracks.

Even if you like both artists its blatant Monsters (and Swifties) were dragging Renaissance and criticizing its future success. It was worse on stan twitter vs here.

The way I spent all day choreographing Alien Superstar and Pure/Honey on private TikTok’s that’ll never see the light of day. 

 

 

Amyways, America Has A Problem just hit me today. It’ has officially entered my trinity alongside Virgos Groove. I still haven’t decided which other hoe completes my trinity tho. It’s between Cozy, Pure/Honey, and Summer Renaissance.
